First of all, thank you for visiting my page.
Honestly, I’m not entirely sure what I’m supposed to say here, real life doesn’t come to me as easily as the fantasy worlds I write.
My debut novel, Gateway to Oraelia: Aurora Rising, is coming out in Fall 2025, and I couldn’t be more excited. It took me a little over a year to complete, and along the way, I found myself bouncing between multiple story ideas, each one pulling me deeper into new worlds as they unfolded.
I’ve always had a love for traveling, exploring new countries, experiencing different cultures, and taking in the beauty of the natural world. My wife and I are happiest when we’re hiking or spending time outdoors, and many of the landscapes we’ve seen on our adventures have found their way into my writing. From misty highlands to sun-drenched forests, I draw inspiration from the places we’ve been, and I feel incredibly grateful to be able to experience them firsthand. And I hope that it comes through in my stories.
I’ve loved writing since childhood. I wrote dozens of short stories growing up and even had a poem published when I was in fifth grade (though I couldn’t tell you where or how to find it now). Like many kids with ADHD, I became hyper-focused when something caught my interest, and once I discovered storytelling, I was hooked.
Somewhere along the way cars, girls, friends, life.. I drifted away from writing. But now, at 40, I’ve come back to it with fresh eyes and a heart full of stories.
Gateway to Oraelia is the first of many, and I’m excited to share this adventure and the ones still to come with you.
